Our Story
Our Story
Our story is rooted in and founded on the Word of God.
As we were praying about launching a new church in Elk River, the Lord led us to the book of Revelation 2:17—a verse that became foundational to who we are and what we are building:
“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches… To the one who is victorious… I will give a white stone, and on the stone a new name…”
From that moment, WhiteStone Church was shaped around a few core convictions:
-We believe in being a people who hear the voice of the Holy Spirit—not just in theory, but in daily life.
-We believe in being a victorious church, grounded in truth and empowered by God’s Spirit.
-We believe in introducing people to Jesus—the One who gives a fresh start, a new identity, and a redeemed life.
The “white stone” represents more than a symbol to us—it reflects the heart of the gospel:
God takes what was broken, renames it, restores it, and gives it purpose.
At the same time, we are deeply anchored in the truth of Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain…”
We recognize that building a great church is not about strategy alone. It’s not just about vision, planning, or effort.
If God is not leading it, sustaining it, and breathing on it—then it will not last.
That’s why our commitment is simple:
-We will follow His direction.
-We will build His way.
-And we will depend fully on His presence.
WhiteStone Church is not just something we are building for God— it’s something we believe God is building in us and through us.
We are filled with anticipation for what He is doing in this generation, and we are expectant for every life that will be transformed, restored, and sent out with purpose.
This is our story.
And it’s only the beginning.
